Children and Youth Program (C&Y) encompasses two main services for middle Tennessee. In addition to the Regional Intervention Program these include a 25 bed acute adolescent psychiatric unit which is part of the 270 bed Middle Tennessee Mental Health Institute at Stewarts Ferry Pike in Nashville, Tennessee. This regional psychiatric center provides within the 25 bed adolescent service, emergency adolescent psychiatric care, inpatient services for regional correctional facilities, and inpatient court evaluations for juvenile patients from 27 counties.
